The Austria national under-17 football team represents Austria in international competitions for players under the age of 17 and is governed by the Austrian Football Association. Established to develop young talent, the team has participated in several tournaments, including the FIFA U-17 World Cup and the UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

Austria U17 has qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup twice, first in 1997 and again in 2013. In both appearances, they reached the group stage, with their best record being three matches played without securing a victory. The team has struggled to make a significant impact on the world stage, finishing with a total of five goals scored and twenty conceded across their World Cup campaigns.

In the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, Austria has participated six times since their debut in 2003. Their best performance came in the same year when they finished in third place. Over the years, Austria U17 has experienced varying degrees of success, with several group stage eliminations and a quarter-final appearance in 2016 marking their most notable achievements.
