Eintracht Frankfurt plays its home games at the Deutsche Bank Park, formerly known as the Waldstadion, which has a capacity of 51,500 spectators.
The club's colors are black, red, and white, and they are nicknamed "Die Adler" (The Eagles). This nickname is reflected in their crest, which features a red eagle, a symbol closely associated with the city of Frankfurt.
Throughout its history, Eintracht Frankfurt has experienced both success and periods of struggle. The club's most notable domestic achievement came in 1959 when they won the German Championship. They have also won the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) five times, with their most recent victory coming in 2018.
In European competitions, Eintracht Frankfurt has achieved significant success. They won the UEFA Cup (now Europa League) in 1980, defeating fellow German side Borussia Mönchengladbach in the final. In 2022, they claimed their second Europa League title, beating Scottish side Rangers in a penalty shootout. This victory not only added to their trophy cabinet but also secured them a place in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history.
Notable players who have worn the Eintracht Frankfurt shirt include Jay-Jay Okocha, Tony Yeboah, and more recently, Luka Jović and Filip Kostić.
Under the management of Adi Hütter from 2018 to 2021, the team played an attractive, high-pressing style of football that brought them success both domestically and in Europe.
