GNK Dinamo Zagreb is a professional football club based in Zagreb, Croatia. The club, officially known as Građanski nogometni klub Dinamo Zagreb, plays its home games at Stadion Maksimir, which has a capacity of 35,123 spectators. Dinamo's colors are royal blue, earning them the nickname "Modri" (The Blues).
Dinamo Zagreb was founded in 1911, although there is some controversy surrounding its exact foundation date. The club claims lineage to pre-WWII clubs Građanski Zagreb and HAŠK, but was officially established in its current form in 1945.
