On January 31, 2023, Vaughan made a significant move to Hull City, signing an 18-month contract with the Championship club. He made his debut for Hull on April 15, 2023, in a 0-0 draw against Blackburn Rovers. To further his development, Vaughan joined Radcliffe on a one-month youth loan in December 2022. His progress at Hull City led to a contract extension in June 2023, keeping him at the club until 2026. On February 1, 2024, Vaughan joined Bristol Rovers on loan for the remainder of the 2023-24 season to gain more first-team experience.
