The New Zealand men's national football team, known as Tīma hoka a-motu o Aotearoa in Māori and commonly referred to as the All Whites, represents New Zealand in international football. The team is governed by New Zealand Football (NZF) and is a member of FIFA and the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC).
New Zealand has participated in two FIFA World Cups, in 1982 and 2010, and has also competed in the FIFA Confederations Cup multiple times. The All Whites are notable for being the only unbeaten team in the 2010 World Cup, drawing all three of their group stage matches but failing to advance.
The team's first international match took place on July 23, 1904, against New South Wales, resulting in a loss. Throughout its history, New Zealand has had varying degrees of success, including qualifying for the 1982 World Cup after a strong performance in the OFC qualification process. However, they lost all three matches in the tournament itself.
In recent years, New Zealand has seen success in regional competitions, winning the OFC Nations Cup six times. The All Whites won their most recent title in 2016 and qualified for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup as a result.
New Zealand's highest FIFA ranking was 68th in July 2017, while their lowest was 161st in September 2014. As of October 2024, they are ranked 90th. The team plays its home matches at various venues across the country, including Sky Stadium in Wellington and North Harbour Stadium in Auckland. Key players include Chris Wood, who is the top scorer, and goalkeeper Stefan Marinovic.
