PAOK Thessaloniki is a professional football club based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Founded in 1926, PAOK is one of the most popular and successful clubs in Greek football. The team plays its home matches at the Toumba Stadium, which has a capacity of 29,000 spectators. PAOK's traditional colors are black and white, earning them the nickname "The Double-Headed Eagle of the North."

Throughout its history, PAOK has been a consistent force in Greek football, winning three Greek Superleague titles, eight Greek Cups, and one Greek Super Cup. The club's first major success came in 1972 when they won their first Greek Cup. PAOK's most recent league title came in the 2018-19 season, when they went undefeated throughout the entire campaign, a feat unprecedented in Greek football.

PAOK has also made its mark in European competitions, regularly participating in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers and the UEFA Europa League. Their best performance in Europe came in the 1973-74 season when they reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.

The club's main rivals are Aris Thessaloniki, with whom they contest the Thessaloniki derby, and Olympiacos, in what is known as the "Derby of the North and South." In recent years, under the ownership of Ivan Savvidis, PAOK has experienced a resurgence, challenging the traditional dominance of Olympiacos and becoming a major force in Greek football once again.
