The United Arab Emirates national football team, known as Al Abyad (The Whites) and Eyal Zayed (Sons of Zayed), represents the United Arab Emirates in international football matches. It is governed by the UAE Football Association, the governing body for football in the UAE. The team is a member of the AFC in Asia and FIFA in global competitions. Their colors are white and red, reflecting the colors of the UAE flag.

Since joining FIFA in 1972, the UAE has qualified for one FIFA World Cup in 1990, where they were eliminated in the group stage. Their best performance in the AFC Asian Cup came in 1996 when they finished as runners-up on home soil. The team has won the Arabian Gulf Cup twice, in 2007 and 2013.

The UAE's highest FIFA ranking was 40th, achieved in November-December 1998, while their lowest was 138th in January 2012. As of October 2024, they are ranked 68th. Adnan Al Talyani holds the record for most caps with 161 appearances, while Ali Mabkhout is the top scorer with 85 goals.

Throughout their history, the UAE has produced several notable players and achieved some memorable results. They secured a historic qualification for the 1990 World Cup under Carlos Alberto Parreira. In recent years, the team has shown improvement, reaching the semi-finals of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, which they hosted.
