The Spain national under-19 football team, known as La Rojita (The Little Red One), represents the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in international competitions at the under-19 level. The team is recognized as the most successful U-19 national team in Europe, having won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship eight times, with titles in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2015, and 2019.
Spain's U-19 team made its first appearance in the European Championship in 2002, where they emerged as champions. They have consistently performed well in the tournament, reaching the knockout stages regularly. The team's biggest win came in a 8-1 victory against Cyprus in 2006, while their largest defeat was a 3-0 loss to Turkey in 2011.
The current head coach is José Lana, and notable players have included Juan Mata, who holds the record for most goals scored with 12, and Yarek Gasiorowski, who has the most caps with 28. The squad features a mix of talent from top Spanish clubs, contributing to their competitive edge on the international stage.
