VfB Stuttgart is a professional football club based in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The club, founded in 1893, currently competes in the Bundesliga, the top tier of German football. VfB Stuttgart plays its home games at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, which has a capacity of 60,441 spectators, making it one of the largest stadiums in Germany.
The club's colors are white and red, and they are nicknamed "Die Schwaben" (The Swabians), reflecting their regional identity. VfB Stuttgart has a rich history and is one of the most successful clubs in German football, having won five Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokals, and the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
