The Wales national under-17 football team, commonly referred to as Wales U17, is the youth team representing Wales in international competitions for players under the age of 17. Managed by the Football Association of Wales (FAW), this team competes primarily in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, which is held annually. The team's nickname is Dreigiau Ifanc (Young Dragons).

Wales U17 has recently begun to establish itself on the international stage, making its first appearance in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2023, where they reached the group stage. However, they have not yet qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, with their competitive history indicating a need for further development and experience at this level.

The current head coach is Craig Knight, who oversees the training and development of young talents within the squad. Players eligible for selection are those born after January 1, 2007. The squad includes promising players from various clubs, such as Max Hudson from Manchester City and Brayden Clarke from Arsenal, reflecting a diverse representation of talent across Welsh football.
